Author Thoughts

Pondering the Pulse

Some of you may have noticed I haven’t been posting the last few weeks.  This time of year is the busiest time for my real world job.  I had great intentions – writing chapters well ahead of what has been published as well as choosing who would be the featured authors to get me through.  But, as happens more times then I’d care to admit, I’ve bitten off more than I can chew.  I don’t believe the chapters I wrote are as good as they can be and they need some serious editing.  I also want to take the time to read the work of my featured authors thoroughly so I can give them the shout out they deserve.  So, I’ve taken a step back.

This winter, I’m hibernating.  I’m curling up by the fire and writing, researching and pondering.  I want to come into the spring with fresh and amazing ideas on how to reach you, dear readers.  Some of you have shared that the on-line format of reading is hard for you.  I completely understand!  Taking a moment to read is hard enough and many of us take that time when we aren’t in front of the computer.

I want to hear from you.  What’s a better format for you to keep up with Sophie Wylde’s adventures?  Audio?  PDF?  Shorter chapters?

Let me know and I’ll spend the next couple of cold months pondering your suggestions.

Taking time to breathe and reflect is so vital! To answer your question, I like the length of the chapters. Commuting to work, I love an audio book so a recording to download would be my top choice. However, I’ll continue to read in whatever format works best for you!
